Beau de Jour
Beau de Jour started five years ago with the intent on showcasing and curating a special mix of local artisanal talent.
I started with ceramics and hand making my own bespoke cheese boards.
Since the inception of the business I have designed my own jewellery and textile range with inspiration from my hobby and passion, horse riding.
There is now a strong equestrian feel but also just a handwriting that lends itself to any FarmStyle, warm and happy home.
All my BDJ branded pieces are proudly made in Cape Town and up the Garden route, where I have cafe/decor shop at the breathtaking Kurland Polo Pavilion.
In season, December to April, the cafe is the main heartbeat of the polo club where families meet for lunch, teams discuss games and the community gather to enjoy the sunshine, the game of polo and the spoils of the cafe and shop.
BDJ dresses their clients in luxurious cashmere wraps, apparel and jewellery. Stylish, simple and the best quality.
European style & simplicity hidden in the Garden route.
